My goodness, you write the things pertaining to our conversations at work. Today I was really disappointed because the one person I have common ground with(a liberal who went to Vietnam) has fallen for the North Korea trap. He has fallen for both North Korea and Iran. He thinks both are dangerous. I was telling him how North Korea has done nothing to us and he agreed but then said their government is scary(obviously this "liberal" watches FOX) and he then said he doesn't think the Koreans will or can reach us and if they tried to bomb us we would destroy them like Qaddafi. Actually Libya would still be standing if it had nuclear weapons. Iraq would be standing and so would many other countries. It is obvious that even the very little "left" which exists in this country is still weak and too caught up with this whole patriotism bullshit. They don't want to state the obvious and don't want to call out their own.

They lied about Vietnam and everyone knows this. They lied about Iraq and they are lying about North Korea and Iran now. Yes, North Korea has nuclear weapons and I don't blame them but that don't make them dangerous. It is convenient, however, for the profiteers so they will use this opportunity to make more money. After all, it's easy for the government to spend someone else's money. Not like it's coming out of their pockets.

I wish everyone would have nuclear weapons. Everyone get them already and problem solved.
