thanks....devastating. That last image of the Iraqi boy running after the American truck brought me up short when I realized he could have been shot, if the Americans felt like it, because he was "getting too close".

My one criticism is that it is wrong to attribute these plans and actions to any kind of political philosophy of American dominance or power....it is simple greed dressed up in slogans....it would help us all greatly if we would drop the posturing and admit that these are the same robber barons of old, gone wild.

This country will never escape the pay-back for these wars...and it won;t come in the form of any military action by "enemies"....it will come in the moral and physical collapse of our own children.

You can't beat the neighbors children and rape his daughters without becoming a monster to your own children...and that's what we're becoming. We've created a society in which we are all drug addicts and our children increasingly irrelevant...hell, we can't even get them a decent education or job...but they have video games and if we don't start them on drugs early, they'll get there on their own soon enough.

As a bumper sticker I saw in Mexico said..."People who abuse animals seldom stop there". We've treated Darkies like animals for so long that it's becoming the only way we know how to treat everybody...even our own.
