This was posted on Bill Blum's latest Anti-Empire Report. I was waiting for Jeffery to post the whole piece (as he always does), but if he wont mind, I'll go ahead and post it, since you watched the video (may I, please?)

There was another video on YouTube translated from Russian which proposed that the reason for the war and assassination of Gaddafi was because of his plan to transition to the Gold Dinar: a plan which included China, Iran, Russia, Indonesia, and I think, Malaysia. I remember reading somewhere that Iraq was primarily attacked for similar reasons, that Saddam wanted to switch the oil currency from dollars to the Euro, in addition to refusing to take part in a deal with Bechtel.
