We know well and I think that Jumblat knows well that the verse is not talking about Arabs but the "Islamic Nation"(ummah) which was never and will never be a nation of nationalism and tribalism. Islam brought humanity together and united all. The modern Arab States and nations are nothing more than British, French and other inventions of the west. The Arab nationalism was invented recently just like the Assyrian nationalism was invented less than 100 years ago. Muslims use always identify themselves as Muslims first and then which tribe or nation they belonged to. This modern nationalism in the Arab world is due to secular governments and not Islam.
