...okay...I live in a place where they´ll put my eyss out if I object to their policies....and to convince me that this isn´t such a bad state of affairs I´m told that country X, with which my country is at odds, would not only blind me but castrate me and cut my nose and ears off too if I objected to THEIR policy...which is supposed to what...convince me that my country is a great place?

How about they both suck?
