Except those folks made folk heroes out of bank robbers like John Dillinger and his gang, or Ma Barker and her boys, or the sexy Bonnie and Clyde duo. People back then were much smarter than these ass-kissers today who see in Trump what the masses saw and loved in Johnny Dillinger, who unlike Donald Trump, came from the people and didn't need a "moderate one-million dollar loan" from his daddy to be who he was, and what he became. ...that is a crucial difference...once upon a time in America rich people were scorned and people assumed they'd made their money through legal theft and shady deals...since then we have all become fans of the super rich and we dont even care how they made their money, just so long as they made it....which probably means if we had the chance, we'd do the same thing. ...I remember when Ivan Boesky was busted for junk bond fraud and other such things and he famously said "greed is good"...I knew then that we were crossing a line....also that show "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" in which we could all drool and wish and imagine that we too could live such lives. ...now Trump is a hero...he's not even close to a Robin Hood...this guy steals from the poor to give to himself. --------------------- |
