I think Iran's nuclear program is a bogus excuse...a cover, a good-sounding one for what is really at stake and that is oil, once again. Not its availability because even Saddam was selling oil, but pegging its price to the US dollar and not switching to the Euro. That's what has America in a dizzy snit...but, of course, they can't come out and SAY that, as they couldn't when Saddam was the one threatening to go "off" the dollar...so they bring up nuclear threats, just like they trot out human rights abuses when it suits their policy and covers their ass. --------------------- |
