When life imitates art... in a sick, sadistic way. The film, "Salo', or 120 Days of Sodom" was the final film from the controversial Italian poet, intellectual, filmmaker, Catholic, homosexual, and communist, Pier Paolo Pasolini, who was brutally murdered in 1975 by alleged fascists prior to the release of the film, which is about four powerful fascist libertines (a Bishop, a president, a Duke, and a Magistrate) who have another group of young men kidnap 9 young boys and 9 young girls, taking them to the Island of Salo' to perform on them the most wicked sadomasochistic fantasies, ultimately ending up in the torture and murder of the captive teens. I watched this film once, and that was enough! Strangely, just as I recommended this film to a friend a few hours ago, I came across the article regarding British MPs during the Thatcher years who performed synonymous acts on young children with 3 of the boys getting murdered in front of every one else.
