No wonder why I dislike Dali's work from the late '30s onward, when he began his series of Christ paintings (perhaps as a tribute to the fascist Catholic Franco and his oppressive dictatroship that with the support of Mussolini and Hitler, toppled the short-lived anarchist movement of the Spanish Republic)..
