First of all, I never said every so called Muslim is perfect. However, we talking over all between the two. Secondly, you said freedom, and that is definetely wrong. That is not freedom in the west but rather slavery in the name of freedom. As far as Islamic countries go, there hasn't been a real Islamic government in over a century and half. All the so called Muslim countries of today are secular and their governments are western influenced. However, there are still good Muslims in those countries and that is why there is still much good. As far as freedom and free speech, those governments are not Islamic. The Quran was revealed to liberate people. Islam is against oppression. A person is free to make choices and that is how God created us to make our choice of what belief to choose. Nonetheless, when people back away from Islam, as you have seen the so called Islamic governments do, oppression, persecution, corruption, poverty and all the bad comes from that. As I said before, Islam is tolerant, and Muslims have proven tolerant over all. Apart from a few rare incidents they proved tolerant especially when following their deen. However, there will always be ignorant people who don't practice their deen right. As for Muslim leaders during Hitler's time, again, they were secular governments that were put in by the west. Furthermore, it was Muslim countries that have always welcomed the Jews after Christian persecution. When the Islamic Turks ruled over eastern Europe, Jews and Christians fled their Christian ruled lands and came to live unde Islamic sharia. Why would they have left and came to live under Muslims? the answer is obvious. During the Islamic empire, Greeks, Jews, and others were treated fair and according to Islam. They were empoloyed in high ranking postions. You will find that the case wherever you. India, Spain, Portugal, Greece, eastern Europe, etc. Wherever Muslims ruled during their golden empire, other religions propspered and grew unharmed. While in Christian ruled lands it's the opposite. You further said that Muslims are blind and only see one side, that is hellarious. I been on both sides I was Christian all of my life and I been on both sides, I must say with all humilty that Muslims are some of the most sincere, humble, and open minded people I know of. I am not saying everyone that identifies with the label Muslim, But I mean Muslim by idealogy and actions. I am affraid to say, with all due respect, but you seem very one sided and with your eyes closed as is the case with most Assyrians especially Christians. While we are encouraged to seek knowledge, compare, and study other religions, and ways, Assyrians are intimidated by their priests and parents. I know this from experience. I been to churches and I been to masjids. over all, I have seen both sides. All of the problems in the so called Muslim world is due to corrupt leaders who were put in power by the CIA and others. Trust me obn that one. You don't know any real Muslims, and those whom you label Muslims aren't even really Muslim to be honest with you. There hasn't been a real Islamic government in so long. I mean based on Quran and Sunnah. I am not talking about the CIA boys like Taliban and others. So I suggest that you open your eyes and investigate with an open mind. Don't allow your hatered, or prejudices affect your judgement. I use to do that but only ended up having to change my ways. I am not saying the currecnt Islamic world is perfect, but it is not as bad as the western nations, and their problems are a result of being un Islamic. If you think Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Saudia Arabia are Islamic governments, you defintely don't know Islam. So think again and look around you with an open mind and think. Once again, you accused brother Pancho with posing as me, and I can assure that is not the case at all. God forbid that we should lower ourselves to those standards which I have seen the case with many Christians who pretend. We don't need to pretend to be. I am a revert to Islam and I thank God for guiding me to the straight path. I have no reason to lie or pretend. But that is not the real issue here. I am just stating some facts I have seen, and I am not hurt by your reply to my post. You are free to have your own opinion and beliefs. By the way that is un Islamic to opress others and not allow freedom. I do not support a single government in the so called Islamic world because I know what they are like. I also know where they came from and who put them in charge. It is a fact to this day which is admitted by all honest and fair minded Jews, that they have survived, and had their success in the Islamic world. Unfortunately, Christians were not very good to each other let alone to Jews and others. There is a huge difference between a Jewish person and a Zionist. The two are not the same and I have lots of Jewish friends, and I know most of the Zionists are actually not even Jewish, but rather atheists or Christian evangelics who pretend. This is admitted by Jews them selves. So please don't kid yourself, or come talk to me about Islamic governments when there aren't any. When there is an Islamic government once again in the future insha Allah, and one that truly follows the deen, you will know what a real Islamic government is. There is none right now. --------------------- |
