There is no comparison between these Christians in Iraq and Black South Africans and others. It is even shameful to try to compare them or portray them as persecuted. There are Christians who are mayors and have high office positions both in Kurdistan and even in Iraq under Saddam. There was nothing that an Arab could do that a Christian couldn't do. A perfect example was Tariq Aziz and the pleanty of other politicians who were Christians. The problem is jealousy. These nationalists don't have the education nor could they ever do as Tariq Aziz and others have done. There is nothing that Christians have suffered or are suffering now in Iraq which others don't. They cry about Christians in Iraq being "persecuted", kidnapped" "killed" "raped" etc, but they are not an exception. For every one Christian that has died in Iraq in the last 4 years, there are thousands of Muslims and others that died as well. They are not the only ones who are suffereing, and in fact, they are better off because they can always move to Kurdistan where it's safer. Then they complain about "Kurdish Thugs" who supposedly steal and commit crimes against Christians. However, a just a little research, one comes to know that these claims are just as bogus as everything else is. There are far more Kurds who are targeted by thungs, thiefs, etc. Religion or ethnicity has nothing to do with it. But then again, if that is a surprise or horrible, Jalal Talabani and his thugs used to robe Iraqi banks at night in Kirkuk and other areas and he is president today. So this Johnny Khoshaba nor any of their other "champions" are being persecuted. On the other hand, it's interesting that there is a big hypocricy among these people. They complain that they are persecuted and denied as "indegenous people of Iraq" and whatever else. They demand recognition, spececial treatment and other things, yet these are the people who don't even allow dissidents or another opinion from within. Pancho is not allowed to post on their lame forums because he is "insulting" them, but they make all kinds of silliy claims and complaints against Kurds and others. They refuse to recognize Chaldeans as descendants of the ancient Chaldeans, yet complain about Kurds. There is a big double standard here. They don't recognize the rights of Chaldeans and Syriacs, yet complain when Kurds arrest a Johnny Khoshaba for crimes or sedition. They don't believe in different views or opinions yet expect stupid things from Kurds and Iraq. When someone with a different view or opinion appears, they tell that person to "go to Saudia Arabia" even when the person is not from there, or they say leave this Christian(country)yet the Kurds are not allowed to arrest, persecute and seize criminals? These people make fools of themselves with their bogus demands and claims yet expect the world to listen to them or take them serious. They are an embarrassment and a discrace to the ancient Assyrians. --------------------- |
