I've decided that until someone comes out and says the war was for dollars, plain and simple...I'm going to skip any discussion about "getting it wrong" or "mistakes made". There are all sorts of ways to increase America's hegemony and profits...but until someone says "THIS war was only fought to get money from our Treasury into the hands of corporations"...the rest of it is so much hooey.

Of course it didn't hurt that they created "disruption in the market"...allowing them to spike oil prices to supposedly pay for the "added protection" and "costs" from a war THEY brought to the oil fields for just that reason.

You can cut back on production to raise prices...or you can keep pumping like mad and claim "added costs" forced your greedy, bloody hand to raise them.
