Only an american, the same one who has never traveled, who lives in a toilet and works for minimum wage can believe the things they are told. Americans only fool themselves with their claims of being free and having it "much" better than other countries. Korea, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia all have higher living standards than Americans. Then there is western Europe and the countries in the Persian gulf. This idea that americans are so free and better off is just a dream and only they believe that. The american can't even go have beer during his lunch break without getting fired while germans do it all the time. The kind of benefits and social programs that germans and others enjoy are unheard of to americans and only some big time executive or company manager can even think of having that. My mother cleaned hotel rooms in the early 80s and she was already receiving benefits and wages that not even a manager gets here. So much for their freedom. The only things they got going for themselves is a police state, high crime rates, etc. --------------------- |
