>You mean in the beginning there was just energy? Ok, What caused it to produce matter? And how? Energy existed since eternity, and then at some point in "time" it just "decided" to take action? I know I've already explained this, but I want to add more detail to my answer. The Universe, being a vacuum creates negative pressure. This negative pressure produces vacuous curvature, which leads to gravitational potential energy. This gravitational potential energy manifests itself as quantum fluctuations. Gravitational potential energy/quantum fluctuations through the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, inevitably goes through symmetry break in process, that transitions into Kinetic Energy. This phase transition is what we come to know as the Big Bang. Energy can be "created" into the Universe, as long as it conforms to the Laws of Conservation. --------------------- |
