Another great film (and book) with fascistic themes is Ken Kesey's, "One Flew Over the Cuckoos' Nest", with the film adaptation by Czech expat, Milos Forman. McMurphy (played by Jack Nicholson) is shocked when he realizes that the patients of the hospital all have voluntarily institutionalized themselves, giving up their freedoms, their rights, their dignity, as they willfully take their zombie medication doled out by the Big Nurse and her crew... because they want to be "cured" -- just as many of our citizens willfully give up all of their freedoms, rights, dignity, etc., to be "(se)cured". AND... in this virtual madhouse, sometimes (most times) Pancho reminds me of R.P. McMurphy.
