The "left" in the mainstream media is really a joke. Unless we talking about guys like Parenti, who actually say the things in public, the rest are a joke. That was one of the first things Tariq Ali noticed when he recently visited America. He asked where the opposition was, where is the left? I work with many leftists and liberals and they fall for this crap as well. In my view, the "liberals" in this country are just people who want to pretend that racism no longer exists, they stop using certain words and pretend as if we are so progressive now. It's like saying "hey I have black friends, I'm bisexual, now let's all move on", and just like that, the problem somehow is supposed to go away. If you know gulf Tonkin was bullshit, you now know Iraq never had wmd(just as the UN inspectors were trying to tell you but your government wouldn't listen), then how are you confident and putting so much trust in this government once again? Are you stupid or what? Ten years ago they did this and now they're at it again. How misinformed can someone be? Are they not tired of policing the world and this empire? North Korea is no fucking threat to America and never was. They have nuclear missiles and America has many thousands more. You spend billions on defense and you're really afraid of a tiny country which is no match to you? Only a donkey can believe this garbage. Iran, North Korea, etc, how many more? This country spends too much on defense and not enough to educate the dumb fucks. --------------------- |
