At this point, one must compare US Foreign Policy of war, acquisition and exploitation from the moment Americans went after Cuba and the Phillipines to their present occupation of the Mid-East, with a dictator who has, as they like to say, "ruled with an iron fist for 42 years". Personally, I don't see much of a difference, except that the dictator is not coy about his "brute" rule, whereas the US calls its one-hundred year-long world domination, "democracy". The presidents change, but the policies remain the same.
