Judging from back then when religion was more relevant and from history, I would assume that Ashur would have welcomed Islam over Christianity since it's really more similar than Christianity was. I am basing this partially on how other kings and leaders embraced Islam and in many cases they were the conquerors of Muslim lands so were under no obligation to accept it. There were also other times where few Muslim merchants or in some cases peasants who had no weapons visited far off lands in west Africa or far east Asia and the natives of those lands embraced Islam simply from learning from these people. That is especially true for Indonesia, Malaysia etc. Then we have Nigeria, Senegal etc where few Muslim merchants, mostly of the Sufi orders went and the natives of those lands were interested. As one African historian stated, "Islam unified waring African tribes and made clans come to common terms...". Of course I can't say for sure about Ashur Banipal since he was long gone by then but it's just my speculation. As for the Bahai, yeah you're right about them and I worked with one a couple of years ago. He was telling me how the government wasn't too tolerant toward them and jailed or punished many. I later studied their religion and learned that they used to be Muslims of a shia school of thought. They were regarded as no different from the Jaffari school(biggest school within Shiism and dominant in Iran), Zaidis, Ismailis etc. Bahaiullah later claimed he was a prophet and this is where they became at odds with Muslims. Since there is no prophet after Muhammad according to Islam, anyone coming later is considered a liar and especially if he comes from within Islam. It is weird because they kind of mix Islam with some of their own teachings and at times I wonder about them also because their headquarters is in Tel Aviv and I thought that was weird. Also I have noticed whenever Christians try to slander Muslims with something, they get a lot of their stuff from Bahai sites. There used to be a "hero" on here by the name of Jumbalat who used to debate me(if that's what we should call it) and he would always find some silly stuff on what Muslims supposedly do so when I would ask for proof he would give me links. I clicked on his link and it was a Bahia web site in Arabic and I told him that is no different than me getting shit from a KKK site to learn about Judaism. It was either from them or some anti-Islamic Christian site. At times they get web sites where it's Copts and other Christians of Middle East pretending to be Muslims but they suck at it lol. As for Iranian girls(my fave subject) I agree and believe them to be the sexiest girls in the Middle East along with Turkish girls. They are straight up beautiful. I know this Iranian brother whose wife will put Kim Kardiashian or any of those tv bitches too shame but she will never have her own TV show since she don't fuck everyone or take her clothes off in public. Just about every bitch on TV done got fucked or sucked her way into publicity. Look at that Asian whore on FOX(Michelle I think her name is)I know she wouldn't be on TV if she were not a house negro type and probably sucked some cracker to get famous. --------------------- |
