...not only in Europe. The Muslims ruled Spain for 700 years and it was from there that their influence spread to the rest of Europe...but, equally as important, they mixed their blood and culture with the Christians who would later influence the entire Western Hemisphere including the New World....North, Central and South America. In truth Islam spread its civilization around the world.
