This is how it works with these people and it doesn't change much. They don't care how much they go against historical reality but will continue with the same old lies. They don't have much use for dictionaries nor the English language. Just claiming something doesn't mean is true. Thee is no historical records of Muslims persecuting them nor forcefully converting them, but there are such records that prove Christians did such things and even to their very own. They want to smere Islam with what they are guilty of and it's silly. They can't accept the fact nor understand that anyone would accept Islam on their own and especially one of their own. As surprising as it may seem to them or shocking, it did happen and it even happens today. I know personally of xtian Iraqi women(Assyrian/Chaldean) who converted to Islam and went on to marry an Arab, Kurd, Turk, etc. The answers given by the families are usually that she was kidnapped and threatened, but in cases where it is more obvious and the family feels ashamed because of others, they usually disown her or kill her.

It has happened and it is undeniable. Islam gave these people religious freedom and tolerance, yet most of their ancestors or members of their community embraced Islam by their own will. It is only natural that bigots will make all kinds of claims to save face, and when it comes to propaganda and bigoty, I am sorry to say, but no one comes close to xtians from what I have seen.
Even the honest, sincere and generous xtians are attacked or called names by their very own. A good example is Dr John Joseph; here is man who is from our community and whom we should be proud of for his accomplishments, yet he is called names by these "warriors" while westerners are the ones who respect him.

I still laugh at times and at same time it angers me how these people can look themselves in the mirror. It is shameful and absurd to feel proud by running a "nation" that is built on lies, prejudices, hatred and mere opinions. For a long time our nationalists thought of themselves as wise by trying to pretend that they were Assyrian all along and that they were aware of this fact. They tried to cleverly pretend as if "Syria" "Syrian" "Assyria" and "Assyrian" were all one and the same. Never mind that there was a confusion by the Greeks and that they mistakenly briefly confused "Assyrians with "Syrians"(Arameans)but this was later corrected as they became more familiar with the area and peoples. Syria and Syrian applied to Aram and Arameans which were west of Assyria or Mesopotamia. Assyria and Syria are mentioned at same time period, for two different places and peoples. The Bible mentions Syria and Assyria at same time and it is clear that Assyria was not Syria.

Their own Bible debunks them but they still try to be slick. Assyrians were not Syrians and these nestorian xtians only became "Assyrians" very recently while having to learn everything they know from foreigners. They try to also be slick by claiming Aramaic is "Assyrian" and this is also not true. Any person with knowledge knows that the two are different languages and Aramaic became the dominant language of the region. It replaced Assyrian and eventually the language was forgotten. The only similarity is that they are both Semitic languages just as Hebrew, Arabic and even Ethiopic belong in this family.

Can we say that Americans speak Greek because English has many words that derive from Greek, or Latin? Latin languages are similar, Germanic languages are similar, Semitic languages are similar and the list goes on. The bottom line is that their cases and claims are not based on "solid facts" as they claim but rather "mere opinions" is more correctly. We all may have opinions but it is one thing if it is merely an opinion or thought and a view backed up by evidence and facts. This is when usually they will play cute and say "I have my opinion and you are entitled to yours" but that is not the point. We can both be wrong or one of us is right and in this case they are the ones who are wrong and their opinions and claims are contrary to the established facts and historical reality. But then again, evidence, historical truth and reality has no basis with them. This is not only them but a global xtian sickness because how many bigoted xtians do we still see utter statements which are long debunked by historians but refuse to change? It was also the xtians, if I am not mistaken, that put Europe into the dark ages and stopped education, science, etc.

Were it not for the efforts of Muslims Muslim scientists and historians, the west would not be where it is and we would never know what the Greeks, and others accomplished. Truth, proof and, education and rationality has always been an enemy of xtianity and their religion for some reason while not so with Islam. Science was always my top subject along with history/geography and it still is to this day even as a Muslim. In fact, I have become more interested with science in recent years than ever before.
