that's right because western syriac pronounces words with the letter, o. Aturaya is "oturoyo" and suraya is "suryoyo" etc. They are all the same as you said and suraya is not Assyrian. I find it weird that these nestorians never called themselves "Assyrian" until very recently and thanks to the white man. The word Aturaya was available yet they never used it. The modern nationalists, wity aprim leading the eay try to fool people by saying that they were Assyrian all along and "suraye" is the same.
