Speaking of their direct descent, pride and bravery, I watched two turkish guys walk in to the assyrian social club in berlin and ended up beating down about 21 of these "warriors." I am reminded of the incident beacuse they always say an assyrian is equal to a 100 arabs, kurds, turks and iranians. Well I can announce that I witnessed that brawl when I was about eleven years old. And just to make things clear, it was the assyrian who had started the entire problem so the turk just came in there to have a talk with him. The others decided to stand up and show their "assyrianism" and ended up getting humiliated. They can talk about being assyrian all they want to but it don't mean shit and I agree with your comparison with the rockefeller. Assyrians are like janitors today and that's like a janitor claiming to be his nephew. I still maintain what if the brits had named these clowns amorite or something different.
