What's interesting is that so far each time a white Christian man commits an act of terror, he is never considered a terrorist, but a "gunman", and then we get to find out who he is, how troubled he was, how stressful his life was, how he missed his estranged wife and kids, how he used to mow his lawn on Sundays before church while smiling and wishing a "good morning!" to his neighbors... or maybe he suffered from mental health issues... maybe he was on drugs, or perhaps he didn't take his prescribed medication?

Then instead of delving into the real issue of why white men are committing either suicide in greater numbers, or homicide, they'll do a half hour bit on mental health. I mean, c'mon what the fuck! We're supposed to feel sympathy for this guy or give these murderers the benefit of doubt, even as several serious news articles conclude that far-Right terror committed by white men have surpassed the number violent crimes or acts of terror by Black, Mexican or Muslim men?

Just as Hollywood typecasts certain actors in the same role throughout their careers, the media pigeonholes certain races, ethnic and religious groups: Young Black athletes are always portrayed as misogynistic rapists and woman beaters; Mexicans are and will always be illegal; Muslims will be granted a lifelong TV news career as terrorists, and on and on. When have we heard about a Muslim, a Mexican or a Black man who after killing a police officer and two unarmed civilians while injuring a number of other people, gets taken away ALIVE by the cops, without a baton-beat-down with a side order of taser? Did the cops take him out for a cheese burger and shake instead like the other white terrorist who mass murdered black church members in their church, as he sat and pretend-prayed with them? And the chutzpah of some on the Right who blame the victims at Planned Parenthood for causing their own deaths and injuries! What a sick joke!

Nixon's greed for power lead him to open the Pandora's Box of hateful, knuckle-dragging racists with his Southern Strategy. Reagan/Bush persuaded the Christian Right to come out of their caves and play politics. They never voted... they distrusted politics until the 1980 elections, and since then, they have become our Taliban or future Da'esh who wish to impose the Old Testament in lieu of our civic laws and our Constitution. If this was a film being dubbed in Arabic or Farsi, the exact word defining the Right's Old Testament Christian Law would correctly be translated as "Sharia".
