...you really must exhale sometimes....I said that the cultures who went before the Assyrians already had sophisticated laws...there are even other stellea from the Sumerians...the code of Hammurabi was merely one of many, of which a good fragment has been found...he didn't originate the basic laws we see in the Hebrew commandments...besides which he wasn't Assyrian anyway but Amorit...and while on that subject it's interesting how you all take credit for whatever desert ribe brought and developed when it conquered those lands...and yet when the Arab tribe comes from another desert, you all go apeshit...and why? because of Islam, that's why...and only because your prejudice, as now Christians, makes you hate THIS desert tribe. Had Hammurabi been Muslim you'd berrate him no end...instead you act as if he was your friend and relative.

...Parpola and you and Aprim are welcome to your views...you don't see me deleting and banning whjat I find questionable..on the contrary I drag over posts from everywhere..and try to remain on other forums as long as they allow...nothing is banned here, nothing. Plus which I take the time to read all points of view which say otherwise...while you all refuse to 4read 29 pages of one book, while attacking it anyway. The fact that we're having this discussion here..and that you're welcome to say and post anything to the contrary should be ample prooof that things don't have to be "my way".

...both Joseph and I had a great deal to lose...Parpola had everything to gain...I'm the fool who has his name on two public monuments he now says have no direct bearing on the people he said they did..that they represent the ancestors of ALL the people of that region without any claim to lineal descent which can be used to pry a Christian enclave for them....it would have remained in my best interests to never read Dr Joseph;s book, or discuss it if I had, or challenge the common misconceptions I was raised with...I've killed what was left of any sales I could have made of sculpture...I've sold over one million dollars of sculpture over 20 years to people I now am telling are not lineal descendants of the people represented by my sculpture,a nd yet I'm still making that style of sculpture...why would I do that? Of course it's a free country..one in which you have to expect to suffer the consequences of your acts...which I am willing to do and which Dr Joseph was also willing to do..and in which you will too....that's life.

..I smashed Hammurabi, not Gilgamesh...I'm now at work on a collection of sculpture from the Epic for display to people everywhere, not just us. I destroyed Hammurabi because I couldn't take him with me when we moved to another country...and because all the gossip ruined fund raising...after I spent $90,000 of my own, not yours, buiulding it for two watsed years...and no Arab stopped me but you Christians.

..as usual, you cherry pick what you can handle...I see nothing here indicating that you recognized where Parpola was soliciting funds...I ignore nothing but respond to it all...while you raise objections and then day nothing when you get your answer...well?

..as for Christians, they're people too...as are we all before someone stuffs with labels such as Christian, Muslim or Assyrian...I don't care for the religion of the person in danger...and I have a spot for the underdog..and right now it isn't you assyrians crying in the West who are in need...it's the poor bastards you're setting up to catch hell when the Western Christians leave...and I'll do all i can to save them from your "help".
