Pancho, your opinion shows that you admit massacres and murders occured both by christians and muslims. I agree completely on that point. The word "genocide" was first used for what did nazis against jews and tzigans. but we have to keep in mind that racism against jews did not began with nazis but existed from hundred and hundred years. The sense of the word genocide from its begining to now, has considerabily changed. Today many differents massacres are called genocide: genocide in rwanda, genocide in tchetchenia, genocide in yougoslavia, cambodgian genocide, and others i forgot, we also speak about cultural genocide. there is a common expression saying: "each word has the sense or the meaning that we are willing to give it". may be..... what i wanted to say posting that site, is that if that woman, who seems to be a turk citizen, apologize and recognize all that it is because theses facts occured really and we cannot doubt about. In the same time, christians can also apologize for muslims massacres and murders. the question is : are thoses monsters acting like monsters, christians or muslims? or are they acting under the name of christians and muslims..... today we can hear very often about terrorism human bomb killing innocent people. when i speak to my muslims friends about for example mohammed Merah, or any other terrorist they answer to me that thoses people are not muslims. what i want to say is that each religions is respectable and our god is the same. but god did not tell us to kill and massacre; one of the ten commandements is :YOU WILL NOT KILL. and Mahomet did not say to his people to be human bombs. all thoses people use the name of the religion to achieve their own aim to kill. i remember one man saying " when you have killed once you will never stop it is like drug" as a conclusion my opinion is that woman apologize can be one step more to achieve and restore one day friendly relationships between christians and muslims in middle east countries. at least i hope that cordially yours --------------------- |
