Is this their way of pretending that they are not Christians? Reminds me of this jack ass on youtube who was saying he has no time for religion and his "Assyrian" is pure pride and nationalism but then at the very bottom he says 'we are all xtian, speak surith, have the same culture and let's unite as one". No matter how hardcore or fanatic they may appear in their Assyrianism, Christianity is still involved and there is no nation on earth which has the kind of unity their silly asses dream of. Arab nationalism such as the baath party etc care less for religion, skin color or even ethnic background. Only these people have their church directly wrapped around their nationalism.
