Just before 1981 Iraq was paying travel expenses for all Iraqis to return for a visit...airfare, hotel, everything...they wanted Iraqi expats to see what things were like...one woman, a friend of the family took the opportunity and came back glowing about life there and how none of her relatives even considered moving to America or Europe....and none of them complained about "persecution"...why would they in a country that had Christian churches long before there was an America?
