I agree Rashad.. I also think back to when I was a kid and a family member (female) ran off and married a Muslim (she didn't convert to Islam) and how all the men in the family (and some women) felt she brought shame into the family, because afterall, if she married a Muslim, as his wife, she must make love with him. Of course, the standard was quite different when a son went out and banged some Muslim girls: the men would quietly share their own secret desires regarding Muslim women over vodka and laughter. It's time for the women in the Mid-East to have the right to choose who they want to live with and how they want to live their lives... it's the 21st Cent., not 2100 B.C.E.
