Is this in connection to the bombing of the Chaldean Church in Iraq? Remember? The story was that two Coptic women, in order to be able to divorce their husbands, converted to Islam and the reaction of the church was to hold them hostage. And by the way this is nothing novel. Months before the Church was bombed on (10/31/10), I heard a half-hour program on the radio about Egyptian Copt.s who were converting to, or planning on converting to Islam, to be able to divorce their husbands. In my view this more about women's rights than it is about religion. But who in the Mid-East really cares about the rights of women? --------------------- |
