I watched "An Unreasonble Man" last night for the second time, and it was a delight. The man is a true warrior! I love the fact that he kept pushing forward, even though many of those close to him (some of the Nader's Raiders and the Hollywood bunch) flipped on him. And it takes a great man to say "what about my legacy?", when some of his friends were so concerened about it, mainly for their own personal glory. And this is the second time I've seen Scott Gitlin bitch and moan in a film: first, in the "Weather Underground", where he compares the Weathermen to Stalin and Mao, even though they never killed anyone; and now, in this about Nader being a "megalomaniac". He needs to pull that stick out from his ass! Gore would have bombed Iraq, too. He didn't do much to stop the slow death of the 700 or more Iraqi children when he was vice president. And it's been proven, by Greg Palast, that both the 2000 and 2004 elections were rigged so that the Republicans would win, with or without Nader spoiling it for the spoiled Democrats. I hate the Democrtats! --------------------- |
