We had it better and would have been just fine, but things have changed since then and it's a different region now. I can understand this may be new to you because I was brought up the same way until I started reading real history books and not those absurdities written by our nationalists who are a bunch of amateurs. That reading, research and challenging the nationalists, of which I was part of and friends with, ended up getting me banned from some other forums.

--So after, all this, what do you think is the solution for the Assyrian people? To denounce their leaders? Convert to islam? Declare that they are not Assyrians?
