The Assyrians NEVER claimed their messiah was coming to save them from earth and take them to heaven. They claimed the Assyrian "messiah" came to save the earth so that man can be "free" from fearing God, and go about their own business of building the earth, (thus the name of the Assyrian New Year Fesitval, the Akitu, which means "building life on earth"). That's why they were called ASURAYAS, which in ancient Assyrian language and the Hindi language means "the Builders". This is part of the ritual we celebrate when the Gods in Assyrian were taken to the Bet-Akitu, (the house of building life on earth). so you are the first "Assyrian builder" in twenty six hundred years. --------------------- |
