My friend posted something on Facebook from Henry Kissinger that was recently featured in a major news publication:

http://online.wsj.com/articles/henry-kissinger-on-the-assembly-of-a-new-world-order-1409328075?mod=trending_now_1

This made me sick; here was my response:

"Shane,

I believe that there has not been a vacuum of strategy on foreign affairs. Rather, there has been an intentional strategy of maniacal warfare, destruction, and destabilization funded by our tax dollars. A portion of our foreign interventions are highlighted in William Blum's book "Killing Hope". I'll be happy to let you borrow this book at any time, it's wonderfully depressing and enlightening.

Mr. Obama rallied into office with anti-war slogans, and then expanded wars (and strangely, received a Nobel Peace Prize). George W. Bush's foreign policy was dictated by the aged, recycled draft-dodging chicken-hawks from his father's administration (everything old is new again).

What is good about "the illusion of order" when we are fomenting disorder around the world with our foreign policy, using bombs (everywhere), depleted uranium (Iraq), and chemical weapons (Vietnam) not to mention economic sanctions that only hurt innocent people, never the leaders that we are trying to harm? Specifically who are we keeping in line with the (b.s.) illusion of order?

I'm going to paste the first sentence here from the War Criminal Henry Kissinger's piece: "Libya is in civil war, fundamentalist armies are building a self-declared caliphate across Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan's young democracy is on the verge of paralysis"

It's important to note that:

*Libya would not be in Civil War had the USA not invaded and destroyed the country
*Syria would not be in Civil War had the USA not funded and trained ISIS to fight the government
*Iraq would not have had Saddam Hussein had not the CIA put him into power
*Afghanistan would not be in civil war/paralysis had the USA not trained and funded Osama Bin Laden to fight the Russians. Obviously, it goes without saying (though I will repeat the point for emphasis) that the USA should not have invaded Afghanistan and Iraq in response to an act of terror committed by Saudis!

Now, before you start chewing on some tobacco and screaming 'MURRICA 'MURRICA, I have to state unequivocally that questioning our foreign policy is the most patriotic thing I can think to do. Your tax dollars and mine are causing untold death and horror around the world. The beginning of change involves questioning the status quo, not re-affirming it.

Sincerely,
Jeff"
