Socialism has been working via the Fed and the private banks when it comes to enriching and saving the golden asses of the uber rich. It only seems to fail the proletariat by: the Fed, the private banks at the behest of the uber rich and the corporate blood suckers. The only possibility for it to work is when the masses (in small numbers) as in the northern European nations of Norway, Sweden and Denmark: three countries with small, educated and enlightened citizens. Just as the late, Russian anarchist, Prince Piotr "Peter" Kropotkin, theorized. Kropotkin, who for years studied the animal world came to the conclusion regarding animals -- unlike the social Darwinian pseudo-theory, animals succeed when they are in small numbers in order to push their agenda through. Kropotkin (while studying animals) came to the conclusion that social Darwinian "self-preservation" is bullshit, further explaining that "survival of the fittest" is no match to cooperation. Kropotkin spent many years studying the animal world, and concluded that when an animal from a pack weakens, the pack -- unlike the Darwinian "self-preservation"-- in lieu of leaving behind their wounded comrades -- instead, encircle the weakened member by protecting her/him by nursing their comrade back to health -- unlike the social Darwinian, for whom it's all about "me"... "me"... and "me" -- Fuck you "me" from "Me, we" (Muhammad Ali). Another observation of Kropotkin's was that consensus is reached within a particular number of participants: 150. As we saw during the OCCUPY Movement, the late, Kropotkin had it right. When the number of Occupiers exceeded 150, chaos ensued... and the camaraderie fell apart, leaving a soft spot for the authorities to exploit. Here's a bit of Prince Kropotkin regarding MUTUAL AID: "Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution is a 1902 essay collection by Russian anarchist philosopher Peter Kropotkin. The essays, initially published in the English periodical The Nineteenth Century between 1890 and 1896, explore the role of mutually-beneficial cooperation and reciprocity (or "mutual aid") in the animal kingdom and human societies both past and present. It is an argument against the competition-centred theories of so-called social Darwinism, as well as the romantic depictions of cooperation presented by writers such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, who argued it was motivated by universal love rather than self-interest. Mutual Aid is considered a fundamental text in anarchist communism, presenting a scientific basis for communism alternative to the historical materialism of the Marxists. Many biologists also consider it an important catalyst in the scientific study of cooperation." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_Aid:_A_Factor_of_Evolution --------------------- |
