If you haven't glanced at the COINTELPRO site, I suggest you do so to see the doucumented nefarious conspiracies the FBI brewed to "neutralize" the political groups of the left advocating African-American concerns and those of oppressed and voiceless, exploited minorities. During the peroid of Vietnam War the Pheonix Program "was designed to identify the Viet Cong Infrastructure (VCI) supporting the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (NLF), more commonly referred to as the Vietcong (VC) and neutralize it through capture, coercion or killing its members." It occured to me how similar this is to domestic COINTELPRO, and how the new means and methods applied do deal with suspected terrorists in post 9/11 are just redefined manifestations of these past illegal programs, in which the targeted suspects are to be eliminated, or more accurately, to be "exterminated with extreme prejudice". I found another interesting thing which may or may not attribute to a previous post by Pancho about violent reactions to cartoons: FBI Cartoon circa.
