I believe this is more or less the same they were doing in Iraq and then claim they are persecuted. They already don't have much use for dictionaries or words. It was the same in Iraq and then they claim they were persecuted. One example I am always given is when an Assyrian was arrested for fleeing from the military. To the xtian this is an example of persecution but to a sane person this is prosecution. It was the Iraqi law that all males who reached a certain age would have to serve in the military. This was mandatory on all Iraqi citizens and the constitution did not distinguish between religions. If a Christian ran away or did not do his service, he would be prosecuted according to the law and this applied to all Iraqis. To Fred Aprim, on the other hand, this is persecution. We were also told how Iraq was so anti Assyrian, yet how is it that every year there was a parade in which the ancient Assyrians and others were imitated and glorified. Saddam funded this and participated. I remember receiving mail from Iraq and the post stamps would have ancient Assyrian images on them. How was this possible if the Iraqi people hate Assyrians?

It is not a secret that Iraqi Arabs are proud of their Mesopotamian roots but our boys, as always, put words in to their mouths, lie, twist and try hard to make it look as if they are persecuted or punished for being "true natives" and for their silly religion. Being prosecuted for breaking the law is not the same as being persecuted. African Americans were persecuted, lynched, hung in public, robed, and faced all kinds of injustice and out wimps complain because they were arrested for breaking the law. When did Muslims or the Iraqi government seize our children, stop us from getting an education, kidnapp our children etc? Aprim was able to become an engineer in Iraq and who stopped him from that or who stopped him from being a historian instead? He chose not to because he has no interest for history but is interested in his agenda.

And correct me if I am wrong, brother, but did any Iraqi Muslim hinder you from making these magnificent sculptors? Last I checked it was these very same Christians spreading rumors against you and trying to sue. This is about the only thing they good at is lawsuits. That idiot, Dadisho sues left and right yet even went as far as trying to sue SaddaM. I bet Saddam laughed and wiped his arse with the papers if he was even aware of it.
