I think of two quotations after reading what you wrote, but I don't know which one applies, if any of the two apply at all. One is "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," by Einstein. The other is "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it," by either George Santayana or Edmund Burke. If the Taliban in Afghanistan are killing fellow Muslims because they are working(collaborating)with non-Muslim invaders, how will the Muslim Iraqis react to Christians armed by occupiers of the same faith who have destroyed their country, and as a result, are responsible for about a million dead Iraqis - most of whom, or almost all, were civilians? Are these people insane or ignorant, or just plain selfish and careless? Personally, I hope nothing horrible happens to all Iraqis. For fuck's sake, they've been through enough!
