Well, I don't know if you read the piece I posted by Robert Fisk in which he points out how the Israelis pushed to take out the "the" and "all" out of "all of the territories" and left it as it is now, simply, "territories" (UN Res. 242). This is why, as Frisk writes, Colin Powell came out and called the occupied territories "disputed territories" and others, especially the US and Israeli media, followed suit.

In this weekend's addition of COUNTERPUNCH, in Alexander Cockburn's article, "The American Way of Torture", he writes: "Ahead lay the repellent spectacle of Professor Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School, and a supposed liberal defender of civil rights, recommending to Israel the notion of 'torture warrants', with the targets of the warrants being 'subjected to judicially monitored physical measures designed to cause excruiciating pain without leaving any lasting damage.' One form of torture recommended by the Harvard professor was 'the sterilized needle being shoved under the fingernails." Thanks professor Dershowitz for thinking of sterilizing the needle!! Of course, the sterilization of the needle was not to benefit the subject of torture, protecting him/her from infection, no, it was to leave no "lasting damage". What a sadist!!! That's why each time he's in a room with Finkelstein and Chomsky they piss all over him... for they know he's a lying, scum-sucking, fraud!!
