I think I already wrote this before, but here it is again: I was watching something about the Civil War in Lebanon and all of the comments were lionizing the Palestinians and vilifiying the Lebanese Christians, who together with the Israelis, were responsible for the Sabra and Shatila massacres and many other massacres during the phase of the war when Israel and the U.S. entered the arena. They sounded something like this "you Christian pigs! Lebanon was your motherland and you chose to allign yourself with the Zionist invaders, while the landless P.L.O. bravely fought, defended and died for our land". I guess it's not just Assyrians who have a history of choosing the wrong side. It seems to be a Christian phenomenon. --------------------- |
