Harris isn't completely anti-religion or against spirituality. Hitchens mentions how Harris flirts with Buddhism, whose some of its adherents haven't been too innocent considering the violence unleashed against the Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar (Burma) or the conflict in Sri Lanka. I can only agree to a small extent with Harris and David Horowitz (formerly a Stalinist turned to the Right) when Horowitz said that he views governments as Mafia families warring against one another, concluding that when the shit hits the fan, which side are you on? And since I live in the U.S. and have made it my adopted land, when my home is attacked by anyone, be it Muslims or Buddhists, I take the side of protecting my home. Otherwise, I should pack up and leave, which I don't plan on doing.
