- Yes, exactly.. I had this conversation with a white liberal when I was playing a classic Richard Pryor comedy album from '71 titled "This Nigger's Crazy". She got uncomfortable after I repeated the name of the album (she asked what it was) and I wasn't about to say 'it's called "This N-word's Crazy" or "This African-American's Crazy", telling her that her discomfort with the word has more to do with her racial complicity in the historical development of the word, then me being racist or provocative. I don't use the word out of respect for my friends and it never slips out my mouth because it's never on my mind. I AM guilty of using white-trash-sister-fucker, though.. that does slip out from time to time.
