White Supremacy works in strange ways. You'd be surprised how much racism there is in the Jewish-American community. Finkelstein says that he went to school with most of today's prominent liberal Jewish-Americans (he only names Senator Chuck Schumer) and reveals the casual racism they all expressed regarding "the Schwartzas". When I was in high school, solely based on the fact that I hadn't a foreign accent, all the liberal Jewish kids were friendly with me; but when it came to Israeli or Iranian Jews, the American Jews not only ignored them, but called them "fresh off the boats" and incessantly shamed them by complaining about "their nasty b.o.", because American-Jews saw themselves as white, and all foreigners (including Israelis) were ostracized from their circles and made fun of almost daily. So the Israeli Jews all hung out with the other new arrivals, Iranian Jews, which had their own problems with both U.S.-born Jewish and Muslim Iranians who saw themselves as American or white.
