Totally agree.

While Israel is used to strategically control the ME and threaten any nation not following the Washington concensus (read selling oil in US dollars) the industrial military complex - a group of war manufacturers need it to ensure a continued source of profits for the selling of their profits.

The fact that $4bn worth of war material is classified foreign aid for Israel is one way in which this scam appropriates money that should be utilised for health, education and food in the thrid world and instead recycles it back into corporate pockets.

All that's required is a perpetual simmering war between the Israelies and the Palestinians. With Abbas trying to side-step the US and highlight their hypocrisy in the eyes of the world there is a chance that the Palestinians may just break free of this perpetual cycle.
