That is your right my brother and there is NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE that can take this right away from you or force you to believe else. I guess you'll be called the same names that I am always called, but I am not bothered by insults and I am sure you are not either. And you are absolutely right with respecting others and their beliefs and their rights to live, prosper and whatever else. i am not gonna sit here and lie to you or tell you some story of the Virgin Mary coming and talking to me. Such things are not acceptable and they hold no water as evidence. It is acknoledged by learned Muslims that "belief" "faith" or whatever one wants to call it can not be given by one person to another, but it has to come from that person and the islamic understanding is that it has to come from God obviously. So whenever I have been caugh in a debate or I should say a talk or dialogue with Christians(I mean real ones, not Jumblat) I noticed the same thing from each and every one. They can't argue their case with proof, logics, concrete evidence or common sense, but they'll start telling you about their "unique" experience which only they experienced and who knows if it were true. Such things can not be used as evidence and hold no water and No normal human being actually buys that. I base everything on proof, facts, evidence, logic and common sense that is available, and I came to later find out that this is the way the Quran tells to do it is be researching, using the mind and looking at the available information. So, I respect you just as much I respected you a few minutes ago and I do not hold any enmity against you or your views. Take care, and keep up the battle, inshallah. --------------------- |
