Speaking of Jesus, I don't know how the Christian sees the concept of crucifixion as love for humanity. This idea of a father murdering his son in order to protect others from his own wrath is the same as a father throwing his son on the street to get killed by car so that his other son won't get punished by him. But the Christian story only is worse because it that same god who supposedly created everyone as guilty from the start and only after killing his "loving" son can the rest become innocent. What kind of foolish thing is that? How can this be love? I have always maintained that Christianity is for cowards and just an easy way out for Christians who don't like to take blame for their crimes. Then there are religious ass holes who argue that the religions aren't bad but there are only bad people in those religions. I say that is bullshit because even if the religion didn't make him do the bad, it still didn't prevent him from causing harm and religion has been a great tool to oppress and conquer with. After all, Hitler used Christianity very conveniently and so have others. --------------------- |
