I am still waiting for his proofs and it's been weeks now. He is still trying to be my girlfriend and have phone-sex with me but I want his sources. We have provided evidence and we are waiting on him. It is clear by now that he is no better than all the heroes who came before him. He knows he can't fool us with his opinions and church crap. We also know that the nationalists are a bunch of liars and Christian fanatics who have no problem with twisting, taking things out of context and lying straight up. When we say that Syria is equivalent to Aram, we are not stating an opinion but a fact. Aprim and every janitor claim that "Suraya" always meant "Aturaya" and this is a horse shit. Suraya is equivalent to Aramean and Syria is not Assyria but the land of Aram. These nestorians were calling themselves Suraye all along and it had nothing to do with being ancient Assyrian. This is not an opinion but a fact. What they say, on the other hand, is a lie and their own opinions.

Something funny this person did is what Bet-Shlimon also did. We asked Shlimon for evidence when Muslims killed us just for religion or converted us by force. After much name calling, he comes out with one paragraph attributed to Ibn Khaldun where it says that the non-Muslims have to pay jizya. It was as if he just discovered the world is round and he comes into the room with this "news" that we already knew. Nobody said the non-Muslims didn't have to pay jizya. Now we have this new hero on here and he finally thought he found something and he brings us a map where it shows Assyria on it. Who said there was never an assyria? I once told a female hero of theirs that she is nothing more than a Christian radical and nothing to do with ancient Assyrians, and she asked me then what were those things the British discovered. She, like all of them, missed the point and didn't realize that the discovery proved nothing for her and the ancients were never the subject.

Nobody has said there was never an Assyria and an assyrian people in what is now Iraq. Only Aprim makes these accusations and his three fans. We know there was an assyria just as there were Babylonians, Akkadians, Chaldeans, Amorites, Arameans, Sumerians, etc. They all existed at some point and their remains are what we see today in Iraq, Syria, etc. He can bring a million maps, post a million pictures of things which belonged to the ancient Assyrians, and all that will do him no good because the topic is modern assyrians who are Christians from the Middle East who have recently adopted this name and are making demands based on that. No greek forgot who he was and suddenly remembered, learned and now wants special rights. These people spoke the language of Arameans, called themselves Arameans(Suraye) and were nothing more than Christians with Jewish names or Arabic names and knew nothing about the ancients which nobody else already knew.

We have seen and quoted books from writers who spent time with Nestorians and we had Partriarchs saying that these people were originally Jews who came from Israel originally, and they were saying this very openly without shame. Then we have other writers who spent time with Nestorians and others and they are calling themselves Chaldean and that included the Catholic converts and Nestorians. One thing that no author failed to see is that Suraye/suryoye was used by all these people and regardless of which denomination. As mentioned above, Suraye is not same as Aturaye and this was just our nationalists trying to be cute. You go on those silly websites of theirs and they mention Arameans and Chaldeans with quotation marks because they don't recognize them, yet these same people want the world to recognize them as direct descendants of ancients assyrians and all the other crap.

I love Iraq and it's history. I honor all of the ancient people and regard them all as part of my history. But I am not gonna sit here and a make a fool of myself by claiming that I am pure this or pure that, and all the other garbage these people say. I met an Assyrian recently who has no religion and he was being attacked on another site, and they were saying they feel sorry for him and he better hope he finds Jesus again or he is doomed, etc. It is very clear that these people are a Christian denomination which speak Aramaic and that's all assyrian is today. This is a religious name and there is no wonder that writers, who even pay a little attention to them, always distinguish between them and the ancients. These dweebs are always referred to as 'Assyrian people" because they are not the ancient Assyrians. This is a church which happen to be in Iraq, which is where ancient Assyria is/was.

So I agree with the Iraqi govt for blowing them too the curb when they say their silly stuff and no wonder they call them "Athuri" instead of "Ashuri" which is the correct way in Arabic. These people are not Ashuri but Masihi(Christian)and they are no more related to the ancients than the Muslims are. If anything, Muslims have more rights to the ancients as they have been fighting for Mesopotamia against the invaders and stayed there and protect the soil with their blood. Iraqis and the government always took good care of ancient art and other findings which belong to the ancient peoples of Mesopotamia. My old roomate, as I mentioned already, is from Babylon and even has pictures of it on his walls and takes great pride in Hamurabi, sargon, Akkad, etc. Should he jump along and start making silly demands and ask for his own country? Oh wait, I forgot that he a Muslim and an arab, too, so that won't work. Maybe me and Panch will grab a name that is not currently in use by any of these peasants and start behaving like fools. What ya say, Pancho, maybe discriminate based on religions or skin complexion? Just kidding!
