Your absolutely right in that case the "indigenous" claim wouldnt do much good because all Iraqis could qualify for that. Furthermore, most of today's Iraqis have one way or another some sort of Mesopotamian blood in them and the very fact that they are proud of the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians and others shows that the claims of our Christian friends is absurd. I had one of these giants of Assyria tell me that the Coptic Egyptians are the true descendants of the ancient Egyptians. As we can see, they are trying to link the Christians of every country to the ancients and that is a bunch of bull. The ancient Egyptians did not look like the modern Egyptians because they were of Black complexion. The Christian Egyptians migrated to Egypt just like the Muslim Arabs did later. These people can't even acknowledge that they speak Aramaic and not "Assyrian" as that heifer said to the poor individual. --------------------- |
