It's funny that you say that because I was just watching a video on youtube and there was some hero who had commented to a Chaldean. He said the bible proves that they are assyrian and then he challenged the Chaldean to prove his case. I wanted to ask him how the bible proved he is assyrian and also to prove that he is assyrian. They are always telling chaldeans that they are not related to the ancients and that they are all assyrian, but where is the proof for these nestorians? When has aprim or bet-shlimon or any of those jackasses shown their proofs? Are they so arrogant that they don't have to show any while everyone else does? Do they mean their story is so clearn that it needs no proof? We have prove that shows these people knew nothing about assyrians, did not call themselves assyrian and were not aware of any relations with those ancients. They were calling themselves suraye and nosturnaye. The Muslims also called them "nostureyeen" and "nosturi" for singular. The turks call them "suryani" and does not mean assyrian.

Little ashur gives us a map from a christian who mentions assyria, but the ottomans themselves did not have any "assyrians" living within their territory. They had "uryanis" and nestorians, armenians, etc but no "assyrians" and that's because these people were not calling themselves that. There is no mention of "assyrian" on my mother's birth certificate as I was looking at it recently. It says "holy church of the east" and that's because she was born before 76. If these people aren't fanatics, what you call someone who murders his own patriarch because he refuses to change the name of the church. They cry about a mar shimun who was killed by a kurd but say nothing about the other ones who were killed by their own community and family members. I guess that one who was killed by simko was worth more than all the ones who were killed by their own people. Just like a iraqi christians who are killed by muslims are worth more than the many more who are and were killed by christians.

The thousands if christian babies who were murdered by christians with sanctions were not important but one christian who gets killed by muslims is mentioned by aprim and can be found on that "list" of his.
