Very true and I have seen this with my own eyes. I had Christians ask me why Muslims wash up so much and put on those perfume body oils. I told them that it was obligatory to be clean and this highly addressed within by the religion, and almost everyone told me that Jesus doesn't care if you clean from outside but purification and cleanness is only from within. In other words, Jesus likes stinking ass people, and this explains why they hated showers, soaps and destroyed all those public baths that Muslims had built in Spain and wherever they ruled. This same excuse is also given for why christians eat pork. I work with this white supremacist who is a fanatic Christian and hates Jews. He didn't know that Muslims also don't eat pork and their meat has to be prepared and slaughtered a certain way and he didn't like it because it was "too Jewish" and I reminded him that Jesus was also a Jew and his followers were Jews and didn't eat swine. He believes in a different Jesus obviously as he said Jesus wasn't Jewish and this a mistake people make. He was "Israelite" he says and not Jewish. Whatever that means. Either way, James, who was the head of the movement, was Jewish, prayed in synagogues, remained a monotheist and followed all the Jewish laws and practices and so did his followers. When the arabs arrived in Spain, they found a people who bathed once a year if at all and slept with animals and wiped their arse with cloths. Only the priests knew how to read and the rest were totally illiterate. Arabs taught them about sanitation, hygiene and everything else. I happened to live in Europe for almost half my life and witnessed for myself how Germans didn't like to shower and many of them only shower maybe twice a week. I've heard the same about French and others. I only been to france briefly and didn't pay attention to that but others have told me they are just like the Germans and others who don't shower. The only people I knew who showered daily and often in Germany were my Turkish friends, the Arabs and pretty much anyone from Muslim countries. They used to shake their heads out of disbelief that the "civilized" westerners were so funky and dirty. --------------------- |
