When the attempted fascist coup failed (thanks to Smedley Butler), the Rightists' plan B was to slowly dismantle all of FDR's New Deal policies, all of the hard won battles of the unions (the 'Wobblies' International Workers of the World IWW were the "terrorists" of their day - they were a mix of Anarcho-Syndicalists, Socialists, Communists, Liberals, and even conservative working people).

This counter-revolution from the Right is crossing over to the militarized dictatorship phase (well, it already did after 9/11), but if the Occupy Movement keep reinventing new ways of protesting and trying to hold accountable the criminal corporatists and their representatives, we may just experience what the Germans did post '33: disolving the Congress, emergency rule, and as far as the Constitution... well, it's been and is being shredded from its original intent and the Bill of Rights... fo'get'bout it!
